Nothing is more Italian than this cycling trip. You will ride and train with one of the coaches of the Italian Cycling Federation, Fabrizio Tacchino , on the routes of the most legendary spring classics: Milano-San Remo. And on Saturday you'll watch the pros race.
We start in Novi Ligure, hometown of Fausto Coppi, and stay in a beautiful agriturism surrounded by Gavi vineyards and olive trees for the first four nights. The first three days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, you will ride and train on the mid part of the route of the Milano-San Remo race, including the Passo Turchino, the first climb of the race. On Thursday you will ride to Laigueglia, by the sea on the west coast of Liguria region, where we will stay for the next three days. On Friday we ride the final portion of the route--Milano-San Remo, including Capo Mele, Capo Berta, Capo Mimosa and the famous Cipressa and Poggio. On Saturday you will ride and watch the race and the pros zip by. On Sunday you'll van transfer to a hotel close to Milan's Malpensa airport and on Monday, you return home.
